Doctor Strange is the #1 top recommendation for anyone looking for a cosmic comic. Over his long history he has met the living embodiment of Eternity, Infinity, and more!

Doctor Strange (1974).
Annihilation
This event, published around 2005, is what made modern Marvel Cosmic what it is today. The Guardians of the Galaxy as we know them from the movie come from this event's sister-spin-off, Annihilation: Conquest. Nova gets a lot of heavy attention and the stage is set for a multi-part epic.
Final Crisis
Grant Morrison's love letter to DC Comics and definitely the most confusing story you'll ever read. Reality is literally breaking down around the characters as you're reading and the art isn't the easiest to track. It's still insanely cosmic! Check it out.
